Eckrich Teacher of the Year

Nominate a teacher to compete for an experience to the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 8, 2024 in Houston, TX. In addition, Eckrich will donate $5,000 to the teacher. Click here for more details.

Excellence in Education Award by HEB

Robert E. Yager Exemplary Teaching Award

NSTA Award- "Recognizes a teacher who has had a positive impact through exemplary classroom science teaching." Click here for more details.

The Shell Urban Science Educators’ Development Award

NSTA Award- "Awards seven diverse educators in pursuit of professional development, and serves to increase the science educator talent pool of minority educators." Click here for more details.

Ernest and Sarah Butler Awards for Excellence in Science Teaching

Texas Medical Association awards teachers in elementary, middle, and high school levels, who share a passion for science with students everyday. Click here for more details.

"Grand Prize: One Texas science teacher will receive $20,000 plus a $5,000 school resource grant.

Distinguished Awards: Three teachers (one at each level) will receive $7,000 and a $3,000 school resource grant.

Rookie Award: A teacher with less than seven years’ experience will receive $5,000 and a $2,000 school resource grant."

Presidential Awards for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching (PAEMST)

Nominate a teacher working in grades K-6 who teach science, technology, engineering, or mathematics as part of the contracted teaching responsibilities at the K-6 grade level in a public (including charter) or private school. Click here for more details.
